Release Note 2024.2

Discover the features Nobi is launching in September 2024: a redesign for the Nobi  dashboard, also available for Jack and Jill rooms and even more accurate fall incident analysis through short video clips.

The redesigned dashboard

The Nobi dashboard has received a fresh new look in line with our updated branding. Functionally, everything remains the same, but we’ve made several adjustments to further optimize user-friendliness.

In addition to the new look and feel, we’ve simplified the navigation between the existing and new resident views:

New
Priority view

A convenient overview of all residents with an open escalation, monitoring event, or technical notification.

New

Privacy mode

To protect residents' privacy, the Nobi dashboard only displays housing units, without showing names or portrait photos of residents—ideal for use in communal areas.

In/out of bed
view

Provides insight into which residents are currently out of bed.

Clearer overview

On the updated dashboard, caregivers can now view more residents on a single page, providing a clearer overview for larger care facilities. These four improvements allow staff to quickly assess which residents need assistance.

Jack and Jill rooms

Nobi now also supports the so-called Jack and Jill rooms, where two residents each have their own bedroom but share certain spaces, such as a bathroom.

The smart Nobi lamps can now be used in both the private and shared areas of these rooms.

Coming soon - Breakthrough in fall prevention: fall analysis with video

Since prevention is better than cure, Nobi continues to focus on fall prevention. That’s why, starting in October, we’re introducing the ability to view short video clips of a fall incident, helping to determine the cause of the fall.

This new feature builds on the existing images that Nobi already provides immediately after a fall. With the addition of video, we offer caregivers deeper insights into the context of the fall, enabling them to prevent future incidents even more effectively.

This feature is only available for the Nobi light.

How does it work?

  • 30-second video: Up to 45 minutes after a fall, caregivers can view a video in the Nobi app that shows 15 seconds before and 15 seconds after the incident.
  • Fall behavior insights: This video provides valuable information for a more accurate analysis of the fall.
  • Privacy ensured: The footage is anonymized using stick figures, depending on the resident's privacy settings, and automatically deleted 14 days after the fall.
