Release Note 2025.1

An update (release (03/12/2025) regarding privacy and new features.

 Common Areas for Shared Spaces

We’ve introduced Common Areas, a new housing unit type designed for shared spaces like bathrooms. These units allow smart features to be activated without linking them to a specific resident, offering flexibility in communal areas.

As no resident is associated with a Common Area, the highest level of privacy is automatically ensured. This includes disabling live view and images during escalations to protect privacy and ensure security.

Simplified User Management

Managing user access has been streamlined. This update allows for the creation of users and the assignment of specific roles to clusters, accounts, sites, or departments. Through the "Role Organisation" tab, access levels can be easily adjusted, while the "Structure" menu provides a clear view of the organization’s setup. This update increases flexibility and control while maintaining ease of use.

Sounds on Dashboard Alerts

To improve awareness, sounds can now be enabled on the desktop dashboard for escalations and active monitoring events. Choose from three distinct sounds to complement the visual alerts, enhancing the ability to stay informed. This feature is easily activated from the dashboard settings.

New Technical Role for Maintenance Stafl

The newly introduced Technical Role ensures maintenance staff have access only to the technical features needed for tasks such as installing, replacing, or resetting lights, while keeping resident data and other sensitive information private. This role helps maintain privacy without limiting the ability to perform necessary maintenance tasks.

These updates reflect our continued commitment to improving privacy and functionality in the system, ensuring a seamless experience for all involved.

As always, we appreciate your ongoing feedback and support.
