Antwerp,  April 2022 – Arseus Medical becomes the exclusive distributor of Nobi’s smart lamps in Belgium and Luxembourg. As a market leader in innovative medical equipment and care solutions, Arseus Medical is responsible for supplying Nobi lamps to partners and professional care organisations. This is an important step for scale-up Nobi in its ambition to further grow within the professional healthcare market.

The smart lamp Nobi is like a guardian angel watching over older adults 24/7. Artificial intelligence is the core. If patients in healthcare institutions or residents in assisted living centres fall, Nobi provides accurate and immediate alerts to the caregivers. Constant monitoring ensures safety and, therefore, peace of mind. Not only for older adults but also their families and caregivers. In addition to flawless fall detection, the focus is also on fall prevention. When a resident or patient gets out of bed, Nobi automatically switches on the light to avoid falls. With Nobi, caregivers also know when residents or patients get out of bed at night so that they can proactively lend a hand and prevent falls.

Nobi deliberately chose Arseus Medical as its distribution partner for the professional market because of similar visions. Roeland Pelgrims, CEO of Nobi: “Daring & disruption are crucial concepts in our search for a structural solution to the increasingly destructive aging paradox. The happiness of more and more older adults is in the hands of fewer and fewer care workers. At Nobi, we surround ourselves with actors within healthcare and policy who dare to tread unbeaten paths and look beyond the wall in a disruptive way in order to achieve a sustainable future. Because every older adult should have the chance to live in dignity, safety, and happiness. Arseus Medical is undoubtedly one of those innovative players that, as a market leader, makes the difference day after day. We really look forward to working with them.”
