Discover the features released by Nobi in January 2024: multi-person units, silent escalation, smart monitoring, in-app messaging and a wizard for new residents.
Multi-person units
As of today, Nobi's smart lamps are only activated in single rooms. Starting from January 25th, Nobi will also be available for double rooms, providing even faster assistance for couples or other cohabitants in the event of a fall.Silent escalation
Smart monitoring
Not only can Nobi's voice be turned off from now on, but also all the smart features of the lamp. Upon the request of residents or their families, Nobi will only function as a light source. The functionalities of fall detection and fall prevention will no longer be active.
Nobi advises against this function because turning off one lamp can affect the overall efficiency of a department.
In-app messaging
Starting from January 25th, notifications will appear in the top right corner of the Nobi app, keeping users informed about new features, updates, information about our lamps, new training sessions, and more.
You can find these notifications alongside the login and account settings.
Wizard for new residents
With the introduction of the resident wizard, we shift the focus from living units to individual residents, grouping all settings at the resident level. This change allows for a more personalized approach, where settings are no longer tied to the lamps but to the residents. This update means that when residents move to another room, all their settings easily move with them.
The resident wizard significantly simplifies the configuration process for caregivers. They can add a resident and immediately personalize all lamp functions with a few simple steps. All available features are presented clearly and can be effortlessly activated. Think of features like Silent Escalation, Smart Monitoring, and the choice between abstract display or full image.
This improvement makes the Nobi application even more user-friendly and contributes to more efficient caregiving.
