How AI is improving our care

4 success stories from Belgium & the Netherlands

Artificial Intelligence is playing an increasing role in the healthcare industry, helping not only to increase the quality of care, but also to relieve healthcare workers. At Nobi, we deploy smart AI lights for fall prevention, fall detection and smart care.

Our AI lights:

Improve the safety & independence of the elderly

Help busy caregivers work more efficiently so their full attention can go to warm, human care

Are there for residential care centres, hospitals, assisted living facilities and seniors in home settings

It was remarkable how over the past year more and more healthcare institutions from the United Kingdom & the United States, as well as from Belgium and the Netherlands, chose Nobi.

Below we share four inspiring examples from our own region!

AI to connect RCC'S & assisted living facilities

Care community 'Gerkenberg', Bree (Belgium)

After the successful use of Nobi lights in RCC Gerkenberg in 2023, the care community decided to also implement our technology in their new assisted living homes, which will open in 2025. Thanks to Nobi, the care workers of the central care department stay connected 24/7 with the residents of the assisted living homes, allowing them to efficiently respond to safety needs at any time.

Flexible (dis)installation, for a healthcare community in constant change

Care community 'Crataegus', Dorst (Netherlands)

At Crataegus, Nobi's smart lights help promote residents' independence and safety. Thanks to its easy installation and adaptability, Nobi provides the flexibility needed for a care environment where residents change frequently. When a new resident arrives, Director Eddy Van Gool installs a Nobi lamp in the room in no time. When the lamp is no longer needed, it moves to a new resident.

Strategic, phased investment in AI

Care group 'Zusters Van Berlaar', Berlaar (Belgium)

At Care Group “Zusters Van Berlaar,” the installation of 12 Nobi systems at RCC Sint-Margharatha began in 2022 with residents at high risk of falling. The excellent results led to further investments, including purchases for RCC Zonnewende in 2023. Another investment in Nobi lamps for RCC Sint-Jozef will be made at the end of September. This phased, strategic approach demonstrates how Care Group Zusters Van Berlaar remains continuously, but in phases, committed to innovation to not only ensure the quality of care, but to provide that extra service to its residents.
